The new generation SnapMax — Dual Pack
The SnapMax is a snare-mounted percussion block designed to expand your sound palette without adding extra hardware around your kit. Mounted directly to the drum, it stays within easy reach while maintaining a clean and compact setup.
This dual package includes two SnapMax units with different pitches, along with a regular dual mount that allows both to be installed simultaneously on a single snare. Each block can be played independently for accents and groove textures, or combined with your snare’s natural side stick to enhance and shape your cross stick sound—adding weight, definition, and improved projection through the mix.
With both pitches mounted, you gain access to a wider tonal range: use them separately, alternate between them, or integrate them with your snare to create multiple distinct cross stick variations from a single drum.
The Dual Mount versions
Snug
Positions the blocks very close together for a compact setup and fast movement between sounds.
Compatible with the drum sizes and lug configurations below
14" Drum with 10 or 8 lugs; 13" drum with 10 or 8 lugs; 12" drum with 8 lugs
Regular
Places the blocks slightly farther apart for increased spacing and universal compatibility across drum sizes.
The Studio Series
We went sound first—no compromises. The mounting system has been refined for improved usability, and the range now includes two distinct pitch options: the original and a lower, more soulful tone.
Together, they form a versatile percussive system. Whether used as standalone blocks or in combination with your snare, the dual setup enables a broader and more controlled sonic palette.
We now offer a thinner bracket option designed for improved compatibility with many die-cast hoops.
Each SnapMax is 3D printed and hand-assembled in Finland in small runs for consistent precision and feel.

💡 Good to know
SnapMax is designed to fit most standard snares right out of the box.
• If your tension rods are unusually short, you might prefer slightly longer ones — our measuring guide makes it easy to check.
• We prioritized sound, and the polymer we use is strong but it is not heat-resistant, so just like any instrument accessory, keep it out of direct sunlight or a closed car on hot days.

Please note: drum hardware dimensions and hoop designs vary between manufacturers and models. Standard triple-flanged hoops are compatible in the vast majority of setups. Very chunky die-cast hoops may reduce clearance in some cases, though thinner die-cast-compatible bracket options are available. While most setups work without issues, perfect fit and clearance cannot be universally guaranteed with every drum and hoop combination.
