How to install the SnapMax

  1. Remove the two tension rods where the SnapMax will sit. Please make sure the SnapMax is as close to the drum as possible to avoid strain on the mounting brackets. 

  2. Hold the SnapMax with the logo upright and position it on top of the hoop, aligning the bracket slots with the tension rod holes.

  3. Insert the tension rods back through the bracket slots and the hoop into the drum lugs. Tighten normally to secure the brackets.

  4. Tune your drum to the desired tension.

  5. Tighten the two Allen screws until finger tight, then loosen slightly (¼–½ turn) for optimal sound.

  6. After playing you can:

    a) Leave it mounted

    b) Remove only the block with the Allen key (recommended for transport)

    c) Remove everything
