How to mount your SnapMax to your snare?
- Find the correct mounting brackets for your drum size HERE
- Define where you want the block on the snare drum and remove the closest two tension rods temporarily.
- Holding the block in front of you with the PAT.PEND.- text readable and pointing upward. Loosely screw the selected mounting brackets onto the SnapMax with the provided Allen key. Each bracket is marked with a left (L) and right (R) mark on the bottom and an arrow pointing up to avoid confusion.
- Position the SnapMax so that the slots on the mounting brackets align with the holes on the drum hoop. Then insert the tension rods through the slot and the hoop into the the drum lug hereby clamping the bracket between the tension rod and the hoop of the drum.
- Make sure your SnapMax is in the right position and tune your drum to the desired tuning. Thereafter tighten the two Allen screws until finger tight and then release a quarter or half turn for optimum sound.
- Enjoy!
- After playing, you have three options:
a. Leave the block on the drum forever
b. Remove only the block via the Allen key, leaving the legs attached for transport (suggested)
c. Remove all parts in reverse order
